Rohit works as a Project Manager at Spinverse focusing on project management, large EU project proposals, technology commercialization and the SME instrument projects. He has long and broad expertise in Biomedicine.

Prior to becoming a part of the Spinverse team, Rohit has worked with multitude of projects from science to R&D&I involving development of novel lipid based formulations for targeted drug/gene delivery. He has 12 years of R&D experience in medicinal biochemistry, pharmaceutical nanotechnology and molecular engineering from University of Helsinki and Aalto University. He is also Docent/Adjunct professor in Medicinal Biochemistry in faculty of medicine, University of Turku, Turku, Finland. During his academic career, Rohit was a senior member of international research team managing several academic and industrial projects funded for example by EU, Tekes, and Academy of Finland.

Rohit has published over 40 international articles covering wide array of topics. He has also given several presentations in international forums. During 2004-2005 Rohit worked for six months each as a visiting research fellow in California State University Northridge (CSUN), in Los Angeles, US and Osaka City University in Japan.

In 2005, Rohit received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from India. He has also completed Pedagogical studies, International Professional Teacher Education, from Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK). Currently, he is also studying MBA in International Business Management from South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (XAMK) in Kouvola.

In his spare time, Rohit enjoys reading, traveling, health and fitness related activities and spending time with his two kids.
