Spinverse is now looking for two Senior Consultants to join our Digital Health team in Finland (Espoo). In this role, you will help shape the future of digital health by supporting our client’s innovation, building impactful public–private partnerships and securing funding for projects that advance healthcare, improve patient outcomes and strengthen society through technology and science.

In this role, you will design and lead open innovation projects that use advanced technologies such as AI, robotics, data platforms and digital twins to improve health and care in Europe. The work brings together strategic consulting, project development and ecosystem collaboration to turn research and innovation ideas into practical, well-funded initiatives that strengthen healthcare systems and create value for citizens. You will offer both strategic guidance and practical support, helping clients move from early concepts to concrete results.  This involves spotting new market opportunities, forming partnerships and helping clients secure funding for their innovation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build public–private European RDI consortia in digital health domain and support them in joint project concept development.
• Lead client engagement and business development to identify and develop new innovation opportunities.
• Provide strategic and technical advisory in preparing and implementing R&I projects within European funding frameworks.
• Define project content and direction, ensuring alignment with client strategy, high quality of delivery and effective risk management.
• Evaluate and refine client concepts, acting as a trusted advisor in digital health innovation.
• Facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, and strategic discussions among diverse project partners.
• Deliver advisory assignments such as assessments, roadmaps and innovation strategies that enable informed decision-making.
• Contribute to high-quality funding proposals, including defining objectives, impact logic and implementation plans.

Who we are looking for

• Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting or senior roles in Health Tech, Robotics, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Health Data, AI or related areas.
• Deep understanding of innovation processes, digital health ecosystems and EU research and innovation programmes.
• Skilled in leading discussions and fostering collaboration across diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and delivering strategic advisory.
• Strong analytical capabilities complemented by exceptional facilitation and communication skills
• Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to deliver results under complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
• Experience in developing EU project proposals or leading consortiums is an advantage.

We are looking for different freelancers for a variety of roles, including:

1. Bid writing expert, with successful track record in national and EU funding instruments and proposal preparation;
2. Multi-party program and ecosystem expert, with good project work and management skills in certain industries or across industry boundaries;
3. Customer relationship guru, capable to act as the interface between the client and Spinverse’s program execution team.

Relevant Competencies:

• M.Sc. or D.Sc., for example in engineering, industrial management, economics or natural sciences
• Excellent writing and presentation skills in English (especially technology-related), other European languages are a plus
• Business and / or industrial experience especially within bio-refining, ICT (e.g. 5G, cyber security, FinTech, AI/ML, BigData) or Industry 4.0 (e.g. digital twins, sensors, data analytics) sectors as well as private fundraising and public funding applications (National/EU instruments)
• Understanding of business cultures of entrepreneurs, corporate executives, scientists etc.
• Good social skills and ability to interact with customers and project stakeholders in a client-oriented way
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge the customers
• Ability to prioritise and attention to detail
