About the project
Fast diagnosis and real-time data transfer to hospital systems are of high importance in Point-of-Care (POC) environments such as ambulances and emergency rooms. The POC4TRIAGE project aims to tackle the triaging of top-3 critical conditions by harnessing revolutionary edge AI capabilities. The consortium creates five rapid (<10 min) and easy-to-use POC devices with edge AI capabilities for monitoring cardiorespiratory events, detecting stroke and analysing blood samples. These devices will integrate into a Device Hospital Connectivity Platform (DHCP) that seamlessly transfers data to hospital systems.
Impact of the project:
The advanced POC devices to be developed by the consortium will shorten the time to treatment and improve clinical outcomes for top-3 critical conditions: cardiorespiratory events, stroke and sepsis.
