About the project
District heating provides an important opportunity for the European green transition. In the Green Heat LIFE project, the technology for a decision-making tool will be implemented in seven district heating networks, in five European countries. This allows for the testing of new technologies, sometimes as spearhead users, to make informed decisions about what to invest in.
Impact of the project:
Getting district heating systems to run with optimal settings and investments in renewable energy, triggering GHG emission reduction investments in greener energy systems, reduction of operational costs as well as sharing of knowledge.
