DIMECC HYBRIDS (Hybrid Materials) - Helping Finnish companies become more competitive in the field of knowledge-intensive multi-materials.
DIMECC’s HYBRIDS-program wanted to solve fundamental challenges in the R&D and application of multi-materials to create advanced property combinations that conventional materials do not possess, and build a unique multidisciplinary knowledge platform that can create new value-added hybrid material solutions meeting high customer demands.
The program had 43 partners from both industry (36) and academia (7) and a strong external international partner network
How we reached the goals
Spinverse was responsible for facilitating the definition of program targets and content; building the structure and consortium, and building and running the unique industry-driven Dimecc Breakthrough Materials Doctoral School (38 interlinked PhD projects). We handled the management of the extensive project portfolio and enhancement of cooperation on all levels, arranging active events, facilitating information/technology transfer and external communications
Growth and improved competitiveness by value-added, hard to copy solutions. Decreased time-to-market due to digitalization of manufacturing and material development. Strengthened the manufacturing industry ecosystem and creation of new industrial networks.
