About the project

DIMECC's HYBRIDS programme aimed at solving fundamental challenges in the R&D and application of multi-materials to create advanced property combinations that conventional materials do not possess, and build a unique multidisciplinary knowledge platform that can create new value-added hybrid material solutions meeting high customer demands. The programme brought together 43 partners from both industry (36) and academia (7) and a strong external international partner network.

Impact of the project:

Growth and improved competitiveness by value-added, hard-to-copy solutions. Decreased time-to-market due to digitalisation of manufacturing and material development. Strengthening of the manufacturing industry ecosystem and creation of new industrial networks.
