Business Finland Veturi Challenge

Spearheaded by Sumitomo SHI FW, the Net Zero Energy Ecosystem (NZEE) programme aims to develop new solutions to optimise sustainable energy production. By integrating diverse energy technologies and connecting them in an innovative way within broader energy systems, the programme unites partners to form a Net Zero Energy Ecosystem.

Key challenges

The NZEE programme balances energy consumption with renewable energy production and storage. The ecosystem’s technologies and solutions bring together different energy production and consumption facilities.

How we reached the goals

Spinverse provided the project consortium with a proposal preparation service that included proposal writing, management and quality check as well as support for the project kick-off.

Key takeaways

The programme develops global solutions in Finland for producing sustainable fuels through gasification and carbon capture, enhancing energy security with long-duration energy storage and lifecycle services for the energy sector.

Impact of the project

The project aims to balance energy consumption with renewable energy production and storage, helping to achieve net zero or negative carbon emissions.
