Jonas Norrman

Jonas works at Spinverse as a Principal Consultant in the Digital Industries business unit. Jonas is the co-founder of a Swedish company IMCG International AB (est. 2008), which joined forces with Spinverse in autumn 2022. Before becoming part of Spinverse, IMCG already established its position in the Nordics in impact projects for energy transition and climate mitigation activities and now complements the Spinverse expertise in Sweden. Spinverse is now the platform for Jonas’ commitments to transform society to a sustainable pathway in line with the planetary boundaries.

Jonas is an assigned Business Model Manager for two EU funding programs, namely Smart Cities & Communities and Bridge. He is an exploitation advisor for the EU-funded project in the Shift2 Rail program, as well as an advisor for Smart City destinations projects with focus on Sustainability and Digitalisation in the tourism industry. During the last couple of years, Jonas has become more and more involved in business model development for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), plants, a technology the UN organization IPCC state as crucial for society to meet the climate targets.

Before founding IMCG International, Jonas worked for RISE, The research institute of Sweden, and for IVL, the Swedish environmental research institute. Jonas supported Swedish companies in implementing results from publicly funded projects and in developing business models for new green innovations.

Jonas holds a Doctor’s degree in Climatology from Gothenburg University in Sweden. He still lives in Gothenburg and enjoys a West Coast lifestyle in his spare time.
