Minna Lahtinen

Minna is working as a Project Manager in the Bioeconomy team and joined the company in spring 2021.

Minna has over 14 years of R&D experience as a chemist having expertise in biobased polymers and composites, bioenergy, nutrient recovery in biogas process and most recently, waterborne coatings. She has been working in two Finnish startup companies, Build Care Ltd. and Ductor Corp. Prior to joining Spinverse, she had overall responsibility for the product development, patenting and certification of Build Care Ltd’s polymer-based coatings. She has experience in the preparation of public finding applications and patents.

She holds a M.Sc. in organic chemistry from University of Helsinki. During her pre-graduate studies, she did a research project in the University of Birmingham (UK) in a field of medicinal organic chemistry. Later on, she also accomplished expert training studies in bioenergy and renewable energy in University of Helsinki (45 study points). She is co-inventor in two patents.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and supports their advanced dance studies. She also enjoys different sports such as gym, yoga and hiphop dance. She loves travelling and has also lived in Sydney, Australia, for two years.
