Hilla is working as an Analyst at Spinverse and joined the company in 2016 to focus in the activities related to EU and Horizon 2020. She participates in preparing proposals for different EU funding instruments and coordinates ongoing projects. Her recent projects have been related for example to distributed antenna systems and advancing packaging technologies.

Before her position at Spinverse, Hilla was a research assistant in Aalto University, Department of Signal Processing and Acoustics. Her work included creating a database of continuous speech in the Speech Communication Technology research group, where she also did her master’s thesis. Additionally, Hilla was a course assistant on two bachelor lever courses for several years.

Hilla holds a M.Sc. (Tech) in speech technology from Aalto University. Her studies included also illuminating engineering and electronics. She is fluent in English and Spanish, due to her exchange studies in Instituto Technológico de Buenos Aires in 2012-2013.

In her spare time, Hilla enjoys practicing her language repertoire, spending time with her fabulous dachshund Mauri and singing in Dipolirytmi jazz band.
