Anssi Savisalo is working as a Senior Consultant and Program Partner for national digitalization programs in Business Finland organization. Together with the digitalization team we help to promote digital ecosystems and new business opportunities across Finnish industries.

Experienced senior consultant and project manager, his special fields of competence are urban data management, 3D city models and integrated BIM, project management and strategic land use planning. Savisalo has almost 20 years of working experience with the built environment as a city planner and strategic consultant as well as in the role of supervising state authority. In recent years, he has worked with digital solutions built environment context, including 5G, digital twins and urban data management systems.

Anssi has long experience in large public-private research projects. He has been project manager for nationally funded BIMCity (2011-2014), and he acted as the company project manager for ITEA funded CP3O project (2015-2017) as well as Nokia-led LuxTurrim5G (2017-2019). He chairs the working group for urban data in buildingSMART Finland organization and he acts as Vice President for Scandinavia in the annual BIM World Munich venue.

In his spare time Anssi enjoys music and nature with his family.
