Amir is working as a Business Development Manager at Spinverse. He is responsible for Business Development and Product Development of our Spinbase, an AI-based funding search portal that uses natural language as an input.
At Spinverse, Amir focuses on solving the key problems any organisation or individuals have in finding the right funding path and partners for their ideas and innovations. His skills combine extensive business understanding in B2B sales, strong knowledge and background in software product development and practical experience in large-scale Open Innovation projects.
Prior to joining Spinverse, Amir led a team of experts in an international project as director of business development at Hedman Partners. He was in charge of a team who designed, developed and delivered a CRM SaaS that is currently being used by happy users in several countries such as Finland, Sweden and Spain. In addition, he has a few years of experience in management consulting in the areas of KPI and performance improvements, CRM systems and go-to-market strategies.
As a student, Amir had plenty of experience abroad such as a master thesis project done for Containerships Group in Finland and Turkey, a traineeship in Creator Space open innovation project for BASF SE in Germany, and an exchange student semester in UCL, Belgium.
He has been always passionate about digitalisation and bringing innovation to real-life activities and has always provided meaningful ideas for automating the manual tasks as much as possible.
Amir holds a Master of Science (Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Management (Global Management of Innovation and Technology) from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland. He is fluent in English, Persian, Azerbaijani and also understands Turkish.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as playing football and some outdoor activities.
