The CTO (Chief Technology Officer) Forum at Aalto Design Factory was a memorable collection of interesting presentations, enthusiastic discussions, and the unforgettable Award gala where Kenneth Ekman (CrisolteQ Ltd) received the well-deserved CTO of the Year 2013 award.
The CTO Forum was given significant challenges in the Aalto Design Factory, and now the CTO community is being called to answer them.
Mikko Kosonen of Sitra presented a large upcoming initiative in industrial symbiosis. Finnish CTOs from all industries are invited to join!
Moreover, Pekka Ala-Pietilä challenged Finnish CTOs to participate in the ICT 2015 advisory board. The CTO task force will counsel the Finnish government in 1) designing swiftly joint national service infrastructure 2) creating relevant and deep knowledge in the ICT 2015 – research, development and innovation program 3) significant funding program to support the financing of seed and growth phase companies.
Contact Laura Kauhanen of Spinverse to express interest in Sitra’s Industrial Symbiosis initiative or to volunteer as an expert to the CTO task force in one of the fields of ICT 2015.
All the presentations, CTO Survey, and the summaries of the workgroups held in the event can be found here.
The CTO Forum, CTO of the Year and CTO Survey are organised together by Spinverse, Technology Academy Finland, Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) and The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra.
Thank you once again for an amazing event – and welcome to the next CTO Forum in Autumn 2013!
